{"id":2201,"date":"2025-07-19T10:30:06","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T08:30:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mauerspiel.at\/feelingeurope\/?p=2201"},"modified":"2025-07-19T10:30:06","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T08:30:06","slug":"mondlandung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mauerspiel.at\/feelingeurope\/mondlandung\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8222;We choose to go to the Moon&#8220;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Es war eine von Pr\u00e4sident Kennedys mitrei\u00dfenden Reden, 1962, nur 35 Jahre nach dem ersten Nonstop-Flug Charles Lindberghs von New York nach Paris:<br><br><em>&#8222;We set sail on this new sea because there is new knowledge to be gained, and new rights to be won, and they must be won and used for the progress of all people.&#8220;<\/em> &#8211; damals war Amerika der strahlende Leuchtturm des Fortschritts im Dunkel der europ\u00e4ischen Nachkriegszeit, und es gab nur ein einziges Ziel: die Zukunft.<br><br><em>&#8222;We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard&#8220;<\/em>: dieser Mut, dieser Erfindungsreichtum, dieser Zukunftsglaube hat die westliche Welt damals befl\u00fcgelt.<br><br><em>&#8222;For the eyes of the world now look into space, to the moon and to the planets beyond, and we have vowed that we shall not see it governed by a hostile flag of conquest, but by a banner of freedom and peace&#8220;<\/em>. Und tats\u00e4chlich, nur sieben Jahre sp\u00e4ter gelang der gr\u00f6\u00dfte technologische Triumph der freien Welt. Noch wichtiger als die Fu\u00dfabdr\u00fccke in Mondstaub ist aber ein Foto: die Erde in ihrer ganzen zarten Sch\u00f6nheit \u00fcber dem trostlos-kalten Mondhorizont. Man steigt auf Berge, um ins Tal zur\u00fcck zu sehen &#8211; die Astronauten haben das Weltall bereist und die Erde gefunden.
